Slimeantics is a free daily word game. Every day, seven little slimes each have a word for you. Each slime reads you a definition, and you guess the word it describes. There's one shared puzzle a day, so everyone plays the same seven words and can compare scores.
The game has no accounts and needs no download. It runs in any modern browser on a phone, tablet, or computer.
The seven words go from easiest to hardest, from Easy peasy up to Word wizard. Read the clue and type the word that fits it best: the closest match, not the rarest or most obscure one. A new set of words arrives every day at midnight Eastern time.
Want more? Unlimited mode gives you extra practice rounds whenever you like, and they don't affect your daily streak.
Each word is worth up to 100 points, so a perfect day scores 700.
When you finish, you can share your day as a row of colored squares without spoiling the answers:
Slimeantics #1: 450 pts ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฅ๐ง
| Square | Points |

Every clue is written and reviewed for this game. Many started from Webster's dictionary definitions and were rewritten to be fair and clear, and newer words are chosen with the help of Open English WordNet. Words are sorted into difficulty levels by how common they are in everyday English, and the alternatives each clue accepts are checked by hand.
The game also learns from players. Guesses are logged anonymously, without IP addresses or anything that identifies you, so that a good answer we didn't think of can be added to the accepted list. Seasonal and holiday-themed puzzles appear on special days.
Full credits and licenses for the word data are listed in the game under How to play โ Word data and credits.
Slimeantics is an independent game with no publisher behind it.
